Student Pastor
Position Title: Youth Pastor
Reports To: Ministry Director
Location: Northwest Church – Bentonville Campus, Bentonville, Arkansas
Employment Classification: Full-Time Salary
GENERAL SUMMARY
Northwest Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to lead and grow our student ministry at the Bentonville Campus. The ideal candidate is someone who communicates the Gospel clearly and effectively, has a heart for discipleship, and a desire to invest in the next generation. This is a vital leadership role focused on developing students spiritually while cultivating a Christ-centered, team-oriented culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Teach and communicate Biblical truth in ways that connect with middle and high school students
● Plan and lead impactful student ministry events such as camps, retreats, and outreach initiatives
● Build and mentor a volunteer team to lead small groups, serve students, and model Christ-like leadership
● Develop and execute a discipleship strategy that fosters spiritual growth and community
● Collaborate with church leadership to integrate youth ministry into the broader mission of Northwest Church
● Provide pastoral care and support to students and their families
● Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Pastor, or Executive Staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
● A clear and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
● Ministry experience preferred (2 years or more is ideal, but not required)
● Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
● Ability to connect authentically with youth and parents
● A deep commitment to discipleship, team building, and spiritual formation
● Agreement with the mission, values, and statement of faith of Northwest Church
