
Joe Lyons
Lead Pastor
For the past 13 years, Joe Lyons has served as the Lead Pastor of Northwest Church, a growing multi-campus church in Northwest Arkansas. Joe answered God’s call on his life to serve in full-time ministry after a radical encounter with God in 1990. In April 1993, Joe and Lisa were married and together spent the first 10 years of ministry as youth pastors before moving to Blytheville, AR, to serve as Lead Pastors.
In 2009, Joe, Lisa and their son Nathan, moved to Bentonville, AR, as Lead Pastors of Northwest Church. Joe is a strategic turn-around leader gifted in casting vision and implementing structure leading to positive change and growth. Together, Joe and Lisa led Northwest Church through a season of unprecedented growth before the Lord called Lisa home in December 2018 after a 14-year battle with cancer.
Joe Lyons is passionate about communicating the Word of God in a way that is simple to understand and apply to your life. Joe serves on various boards at the local and national level and is passionate about developing next generation leaders for Kingdom impact. Nathan is currently attending the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, where he is playing Division 1 baseball.
